ver 200 women, dressed in red, flooded the Agora Conference
Center in Conway Arkansas for the 2008 Faulkner County Go
Red For Women Luncheon. The event, designed to inform women of
their risk for cardiovascular disease, featured a unique silent auction;
Faulkner County women and local vendors provided the “Purse-a-nality”
packages, which were purses filled with personality unique items.
Other central Arkansas retailers donated individual items included in
the auction. The featured speaker for the luncheon was Kendra Scott of
Kendra Scott Designs, who has had high profile fashion partnerships
with Oscar de la Renta and celebrity athlete Lance Armstrong. The luncheon
was presented by Acxiom and Well Point, and was emceed by
Today’s THV’s Anchor Dawn Scott.
