Great Treasure Hunt
at the Governor’s Mansion
he Arkansas Governor’s Mansion turned into “The Great Treasure Hunt”
when the Children’s Protection Center swarmed the Mansion for a celebration.
Between cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and the musical soundings
of Tragikly White, attendees were treated to their own treasure hunt. CPC
is a child advocacy center that works with members of the Pulaski County
Multidisciplinary Child Abuse Team. This team includes child protection
personnel, law enforcement professionals, child forensic interviewers, medical
and mental health professionals, social workers, and victim assistance
professionals.

he Old State House Museum hosted an old-fashioned bash in honor of
its 172nd birthday of our fair state! On Thursday, June 5th, the organization
hosted a reception for long-time supporters, patrons and board members.
Held on the lawn of the Museum, the barbeque and birthday cake catered
event featured entertainment and a silent auction. Glazer’s Distributors
of Arkansas provided wine and imported beer. A selection of auction items
included private parties, home décor, jewelry and gifts. The OSH Museum is
part of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and shares the goals of all seven
of its subsequent agencies.
