Roots and Shoots
he Arkansas Sustainability Network,
Arkansas Heartland Slow
Foods and Boulevard Bread Company
hosted the first “Roots and
Shoots” party in the Heights. A white
tent and special music transformed
the empty Boulevard parking lot into
an inviting venue for passers and
drivers-by. A delicious buffet of regionally
grown and prepared foods,
as well as flavorful organic wine and
beer, were served. The opportunity to
meet local participating farmers was
also available.
