T
he THEA Foundation Center for the Arts recently opened its doors
on 401 Main Street in North Little Rock. In honor of the new
headquarters, the Board of Directors of THEA hosted a reception and
dedication of the new building. The reception also honored President
Bill Clinton, Judy Kohn Tenenbaum, Mayor Patrick Henry Hays, City
of North Little Rock and John Gaudin. During its first five years, the
THEA Foundation has given away more than $600,000 in scholarships
for performing and visual arts. It established the Art Across Arkansas
program, which puts displays of artwork in every public school in the
state. Additionally, Thea’s Art Closet is a project that provides supplies
