on the Promenade
esidents of the Heights came out in force to help the Heights
Neighborhood Association with their first free summer kick-off
“Party on the Promenade”. They closed one block of Kavanaugh to
make it safer for kids and adults to mingle, dance, sit and enjoy being
among neighbors and friends. BRIAN KINDER performed for the kids
who also enjoyed free cotton candy. Some of the shops and restaurants
stayed open for everyone to walk around, shop, eat and drink
before the adult band TYPHoID MARY started performing for a late
night of fun, dance, socializing and good times to kick off the summer
and to celebrate their hard work as an association.
