Inviting Arkansas
E
Authors Feted
at Literary Festival
ach April in Little Rock’s River market, the
Arkansas Literary Festival hosts free author
sessions, children’s craft and writing activities,
teen writing workshops and more. This year,
an Arthur Party special event fundraiser was
held at the Junior League of Little Rock Building.
Celebrating its 5th anniversary and helping
support adult literacy programs in Arkansas,
the party featured a signature pomegranate
martini. 2008 marked the fifth annual festival
and the last year that ALC will produce the festival.
The Central Arkansas Library System has
adopted the festival.
