St. Vincent IV Party
O
n May 3, 2008, over 550 people attended the hip and trendy IV Party,
held on the rooftop at the campus of St. Vincent Infirmary. Attendees enjoyed
island fare, libations and live music by Emerald City Band. With no silent or
live auctions and no tables to buy, the party was held in a sophisticated nightclub
atmosphere. More than $228,000 was raised to benefit St. Vincent Health System
and the families the organization serves. Redefining the concept of a fundraising
event in the LR community, St. Vincent Foundation’s IV Party is designed to elevate
awareness of St. Vincent Infirmary’s emphasis on family health care among
the community’s professional movers and shakers. Mark your calendars for May
9th, 2009, as the organization has begun planning next year’s IV party!
